Keynotes

Clear, Concise, and Confident Communication

Christina calls her signature program a "keyshop" rather than a straight keynote or workshop.

Participants will:

• Discover a road map for planning and preparing your communications

• Recognize the keys to understanding what clients, staff, and leadership Must-Know/Could-Know/Should-Know

• Leverage the techniques of body language, eye connection, gestures and screen management to make confident impressions

• Amplify your credibility with word choice: eliminate qualifiers and manage nervous ticks and fillers

• Eliminate conversation stoppers

• Discover how to capture and keep attention

• Learn how to counter objections proactively

• Master a simple acronym for confidently speaking on the spot

Whether your version of public speaking involves talking one-on-one to suppliers, to your whole team, or to your boss – Christina gets straight to the heart of clear, concise, and confident communication. An easy-to-remember formula for speaking on the spot will change how you look at Oreos forever, and spoiler alert: don’t be surprised if you learn as much about yourself as you do your colleagues!

Sprinkled with anecdotes from her decades on-air as an Emmy-nominated Television News Anchor and Reporter,  she instinctively connects with an audience and brings the same level of energy to her programs as she did to breaking news.

Christina’s updated and innovative perspective illustrates a well-known fact: those who speak well, do well.

Clear, Concise, and Confident Communication: Deep Dive

Based off Christina's most requested keynote, this workshop gets participants up on their feet engaging in new presentation skills strategies. Live feedback enforces learning points, and the smaller group size allows for consistent conversation and questions.

Suggested length is a full day (in-person with individual coaching) or two 90 minute sessions plus breakout coaching (virtual).

Suggested audience: Individuals, groups, managers, supervisors, emerging leaders, new hires.

DISC Behavioral Styles (Facilitator certified)

Our DISC workshop identifies the four basic personality and communication styles. The foundation of this popular workshop is laid with a DISC behavioral assessment, giving participants an intimate understanding of their own style. We’ll discover how that style works both for and against you. Key strategies to identify and adapt to other’s styles are identified through a mix of breakout groups, hands-on activities and open discussion.

Christina partners with Assessments 24x7, a global leader with more than 7 million assessments delivered, to administer DISC reports. DISC provides a highly-detailed analysis of each individual’s Natural and Adapted behavioral styles. DISC reveals how a person will most likely behave within a given environment, situation, or relationship. It offers prescriptive lessons designed to highlight and maximize self-awareness, intentionality, and interpersonal communication, personally and professionally.

Emotional Intelligence (Facilitator certified)

Emotional Intelligence is the number one predictor of job success. EQ is the ability to recognize and manage emotions in yourself, others, and in groups.

It’s based in science and like a muscle – and unlike our IQ – it can be grown. This program begins with a scored self-assessment and moves through the fundamental four quadrants that make up Emotional Intelligence. A conversation based approach allows for group sharing and discovery.

Customizable content includes: Empathy Skills, Active Listening, Conflict Resolution, Difficult Conversations, Giving and Receiving Feedback, Adaptability, Teamwork, and Psychological Safety.

Virtual Engagement

How do you connect and communicate remotely? It starts with your virtual image. We check lighting, camera angle, background, body language and audio clarity.

From there, participants discover how to break through the barriers of web cameras (or lack of) and remote distractions. This is a fast-paced program with activities that lead to actionable ways to measure and maintain your audience’s attention in a virtual setting.

Frequently requested learning points include how to work with distractions instead of against them, how to use language that requires engagement, web camera etiquette, and visual aid best practices.
